This
website was created by David Cardenas,
an M.P.H. student from the Department of
Epidemiology at the UCLA School of
Public Health for the final project of
Epidemiology 414, a course taught by
Dr.
Mark Strassburg.
This
FrontPage 2000 version of EpiNet was
developed as the prototype for a more
advanced design of this website
scheduled for completion in Mid-July
2001.
The
EpiNet Resource Center is the culmination
of an idea first presented in an
evaluation of the Department of
Epidemiology in the Fall of 2000.
Students in the Department of
Epidemiology expressed a need for a
centralized resource to assist them in
their search for opportunities in the
field of Epidemiology and Public Health.
This website was created, in turn, to
address that need.
The
expanded version of this EpiNet Center
website will be presented to the new
members of the Public Health Student
Association and to members of the
school's current faculty and
administration. It is hoped that a
version of this website will be
considered as an addition to the current
online presence of the School of Public
Health.
